Around Manaslu Circuit Trek route begins with a long drive from Kathmandu to Soti Khola around (137.5 km) would approximately take an 8 to 9 hours ride. During this adventure ride along the green hills, you can see the beautiful mountains and rivers flowing by our side. Our trek from Soti Khola to Sama Gaon will be an adventurous and challenging trek full of surprises from nature. You will enjoy the beautiful display of nature when coming across pleasant alpine meadows and pouring waterfalls. Immersing into the beautiful Sal and bamboo forests, big rapids of Budhi Gandaki River, and spotting the national bird or a monkey is a lively experience for every one of us. Further following our destination will be more adventures which leads you to Larkya La Pass (5,106 m. We will perceive a striking view of Mt. Manaslu and also the Larkya glacier. After leaving our footprints on the Larkya La Pass summit, a stunning panoramic view of peaks like Himlung Himal, Kang Guna, Annapurna II, etc. will be waiting for us to give a treat to our eyes. Descend down the trail leading us to a large field in Bhimtang (3,720 m) then further proceeding to Dharapani. From there we ride the local transportation back to Kathmandu.

From Chitre, you will enter the Upper-temperature climatic vegetation. Above Sele La towards Ghinsa begins subalpine and alpine climatic zone with shallow and dwarf shrubs and open meadows. From the range of 5,000 is the snowline with a rocky and icy landscape. During the trek, you may observe Snow Leopard, Himalayan Asian black bear, and Red Panda. Kanchenjunga Circuit Trek Route

As we start our walk toward high terrain and valley with a pleasant view of Kanchenjunga and other peaks, we will be at Amjilosa. As we descend up, we will witness an elevated landscape and valley and then enter into the arctic zone of ice and glaciers at Kanchenjunga Base Camp around a place called Pangpema.

 

After we trek further, we will head towards a pleasant village of Gunsa, where our trial diverts, heading southeast through the beautiful dense forest of rhododendron and pine trees as well as crossing Sele La. After that, we cross Sinon La Pass to reach Kanchenjunga Base Camp. As we trek ahead, we will cross Yalung Glacier, Ramche, Totongdin, Hapu Khola, and finally to Kathmandu through Bhadrapur.

Kanchenjunga Circuit Weather goes across diverse climate zones, so it is difficult to predict weather conditions during the trek. Spring month starts from March and continues up until May. You will experience perfect and temperatures at high altitudes that are still cold during the early season. The tea houses and lodges stat to open in an alpine zone that was closed during the winter. You can easily cross the Sele La Pass without any difficulties in this season. Forest inside Kanchenjunga National Park starts to blossom, giving the forest new greener looks, which feel amazing. Around mid-spring, the temperature in lower elevation starts to rise, and it will be even hotter in late spring. Still, the upper height is perfect to trek during this weather. June to August months fall in the summer season in Nepal and are also known as the monsoon or rainy season. During this season, you will experience the super-hot in the lower region, especially in the eastern part of the Terai and Hilly region.

 

The month of June is the pre-monsoon period, and temperature decreases during the downpours and rises on sunny days. December to February is the winter season in Nepal. The beginning of winter is one of the best times to trek Kanchenjunga Base Camp. It is pretty cold at high altitudes, but the aspects of the landscape are crystal clear.

 

In mid-winter, massive snowfall will make your trek difficult or impossible sometimes. Sele Le Pass is yet possible to cross before thick snow seals it down. This pass will be tremendously challenging at this time. You can pass the trail but only with the best trekking gears.

 

The lodges will be closed this season, and you may have to camp at some stops. As the weather at a high altitude is challenging, it will add to the adventure. The next day, we will start with an adventurous suspension bridge over fast-flowing rivers to reach Namche Bazar. Further, we will ascend to Thame, Lungden, and Gokyo via Renjo LaPass (5,465 m/17,520 ft.). Wildlife and view of the Himalayas add excitement to your trekking. From Renjo La, the sparkling vista awaits like Everest, Lhotse, Makalu will be shining due to sun rays. Further, we will trek from Thangnak to Dzongla via Cho La Pass (5,420 m/17,782 ft.). To reach Dzongla, the trail is challenging because of rocky trails and glacial moraines to the top of the pass.

 

Today the trek will be exciting as we are heading to the Budget Everest Base Camp. We will trek through the lateral moraine of Khumbu Glacier for about 2.5 hours. As we reach Gorak Shep, we wi witness beautiful snow-capped mountains looming all around us. After many efforts and an exciting view during the walk, we will reach Rapid Everest Base Camp. We feel a rush of pride in our body, appreciating the efforts and dedication to achieve a lap of Everest. After spending some time at base camp, we will head back to Gorak Shep. Early morning, we will hike to Kalapatthar at dawn to view the sunrise on Everest. After the fantastic view, we will head toward Lobuche. Further, we will trek to Chhukung via Kongma La Pass (5,535 m/18,159 ft.). We now then descend the valley of Imja Khola, trek through the village of Tengboche. During the walk, you will see the panoramic views of Everest, Island Peak, and Lhotse. We will also visit the Buddhist monastery at Tengboche. From here, we will trek to Namche Bazar and to Lukla. The Lukla flights will be delayed if there is bad weather, with an average delay being 24 hours. We can be flexible and change the itinerary to catch up on lost days, but if the planes can’t fly for more than 4 or 6 days, then there is little to do besides wait.
